The Lucent team work closely together so that as a client you get the benefit of our diverse perspectives. We challenge and support one another through all our projects.

Social change is our passion.
All of us at Lucent are passionate about social change and have had careers in charities and foundations in the UK and internationally. Between us we have deep leadership experience in the social sector - including as chief executives and trustees.
We have walked in your shoes and offer you the high support and high challenge needed to help you move further and faster than you would alone. We make as many of our resources open source as possible, so that they are accessible to everyone involved in wider movements for social justice and social change.
How did Lucent’s story start?
Like so many small businesses, Lucent was born at a kitchen table where, with the aid of post its and flipcharts, we figured out how to build a consultancy that helps organisations unlock their full potential and make the most impact in the world.
The answer was to recruit a team of people with deep leadership experience, a wide range of complementary skills and a shared commitment to social justice. Lucent consultants provide confidential, impartial advice and evidence of what has worked for others, as well as a suite of tried and tested tools to guide organisations through complex ambiguous times.
It is this combination of visionary and pragmatic that has remained central to Lucent ever since.
